Tuition

Group Lessons & Recitals

Every year we will have 3 group lessons (Students Only) and 3 recitals held in the Spring, Fall and Christmas times and open to all friends and family. All will be held at the Syracuse Library.   Each Student is asked to perform two songs at each recital. There will be a $5 Recital Fee the month of every recital. This fee covers the cost of the building rental, refreshments and any awards given.  Simply include this in your tuition for these months. I will notify you before it is due.

Practicing Policy

The policy for practicing is 15-20 minutes per day for beginners, and 20-30 minutes of practicing per day for intermediate/early advanced students. Also, 5 days per week is the minimum weekly amount. Students need to remember they are vocal athletes and practice makes progress! Students will refer to their lesson recordings for practice and to rehearse their songs. Practice sheets and folders will be provided.

Sheet Music

I purchase sheet music through Music Notes and is $5.00 per song. I will notify you when I purchase music for your student (which can range from month to month) and request a Venmo reimbursement for the song. The sheet music is then for your student to keep.

Parental Involvement & Lesson Recording

Every voice lesson will be recorded. I will voice record each lesson and send the link to the parent or adult student.  The student can also bring their own device to video record each lesson if they choose.

Since these lessons will be recorded, there is no need for parents to accompany and observe the student. Students are more likely to be successful with the parent’s support and encouragement of daily practice at home alongside the weekly recordings and assigned songs.

Cancellation Policy

If a student cancels or misses a lesson, then tuition is still owed in full, and no refunds will be given. I will not reschedule forgotten lessons. If a student is sick the day of the lesson I ask that they PLEASE stay home and rest their vocal cords in order to avoid injury and avoid spreading it to other students.  I will have a few lesson make-up days available during the semester where I can reschedule the lesson at that time.

In case of an emergency where I am unable to teach, a credit will NOT be given and we will reschedule the student’s lesson.

30 day cancellation is REQUIRED to stop lessons. You will be charged for the current month your notice is received in writing.
