About Lisa
Lisa B. Simpson
Vocal Instructor
Born and raised in northern Utah, Lisa has been a singer all her life. Her passion for performing on stage earned her key roles in several choir productions and musicals, including “The Music Man”, “Rumors”, and Brigham Young University’s rendition of “Oklahoma!”. One of the things she values most from these experiences is a vivid memory from a musical she was in:
"I remember literally feeling joy belting out the chorus of the song along with the cast. I could have had a stressful day, but it didn’t matter because being up on stage made the day into a great day! I love music and it is amazing how singing a favorite song while doing simple, everyday tasks can make any chore fun."
In more recent years, Lisa worked as Director and Music Director for the play “Annie Jr.”. She diligently instructed the youth involved on vocal exersizes, acting techniques, and performance preparation.
